I just got myself a new organizer. A batik one :D
When i browsed the alley of bookstore, i imagined that the tabs on my organizer would consisted of Office, Home, and Bebe&Kal.
What i didn’t imagine would happen though, that i automatically wrote down my office work on the first section. I think ideally, as a wife and mother, i should have put Home first, before Office. But i did just that, without much thinking. Well, when you spend more time at work and everything at work seems very important, things happen contrary to what suppose to be the ideal.
Another baby of mine. I consider borned in the month of November, thus a Scorpion :) i can’t believe that when i was thinking about it and thought, hey, this newborn of mine is also a scorpion!
I don’t mean to think too highly of my own *and bebe’s* zodiac, but one can’t help but being proud, no? :p Anyway, scorpio’s most famous traits are determined, forceful, passionate, emotional and intuitive. Well if you’re doing your own business then pouring all your emotion into it, being passionate but intuitive at the same time is a good thing, right? People say that when choosing what line of business you wanna do, then do something that you passionately love. I am.
I hope this baby will inherit all the good traits of a scorpion then grow into something big and bring prosperity not only for me, but also to the people around me. Amen.
When i’m imagining happy place, this small island only an hour away from bali comes to mind. Lembongan. Next to it, there’s another smaller island called Ceningan. The two islands are connected with a bridge. Though the bridge doesn’t hold a candle to the Suramadu bridge, but the view is not to be underestimated. Simply beyond words.
I remember me and the husband stood on Lembongan side of the bridge, completely in silence. We both looked at the vast ocean on the right side, waves rolling to the left side of the bridge. To me, it felt magical, surreal. Few minutes later, we decided to go crossing the bridge to ceningan island but didn’t go far enough to the village. We just went crossing it, then went back to Lembongan and cruised Lembongan island with a rented motorcycle. Lembongan itself is very quite, very peaceful. A place to go if you’re looking for tranquility. I am glad we decided to go there on our honeymoon after bali. Because beautiful as it is, bali still feels very touristic.
I promise one day, i will be back to Lembongan and this time will make time to go around the island next to it. One day, baby.
TK Al Hanif, Pamulang. July 12, 2010.
With her teacher, Bebe Abel first day at TK Al Hanif. She didn’t cry when i said i’d go home. She probably didn’t care as well, cause she’s too overwhelmed with the school’s playground and her new class.
Too bad baba isn’t here :) Well, we’re getting old and our baby’s not a baby anymore.
Rindu Alam Parking Lot. June 5, 2010.
It was very late, almost midnight. And the puncak temperature was freeeeziiingg.. I didn’t plan we were going home this late, but there had been last minute change of plan and there we were. I brought bebe’s jacket and fuchsia beanie, to match with my new fuchsia lipgloss :D
Billy decided to take pictures here, though we didn’t eat at the restaurant. He said that this place is a classic. And I, as much as i loved taking pictures, felt like it was too cold and thought we should just left after taking a few snaps.
This one is one of my favorite. Really, if you saw how bebe was reacting to the cold, it was just super cute :)
I love you, kid.
